Ray was born and raised in the North Country and has lived in Massena for more than six decades. During those decades he graduated from Massena Central High School, ran a family auto sales business on Water St. in Massena, and worked as a laborer, construction, Charger & Safety at Reynolds Metals and Alcoa, custodian, Maintenance Supervisor, and been involved in family restuarants.
In 2023 Ray was elected to the Massena Town Council and currently serves on the Touring/Fishing, Airport, Highway Dept., and Planning and Zoning Boards. Prior committees and boards include Massena Electric, Library, and Ethics.
In his leisure time, Ray enjoys spending time in the beautiful North Country outdoors, boating and biking. He also enjoys good music, and delving into history.
